USA Pioneers created, Coach Craig Webb to travel on Inagural Tour

USA Rugby League (USARL) has announced the creation of a national developmental team called the USA Pioneers, and confirms their inagural tour to Jamiaca. The will may travel in April for a two game visit having three teams from the USARL sending players. The Eagles Coach, Craig Webb, will be joinng the team as Coach and Manager to further his development as part of USA Rugby League coaching education program. 

One World, One Game

The Eagles have joined forces over international waters. The Eagles have formed a partnership with the Kurri Kurri Bulldogs for Newcastle, Australia to help promote the game on both sides of the ocean. The Eagles look foward to a great relationship with the Bulldogs which includes a player exchagne program and the hopes to join forces and play together!

The Eagles are looking forward to meeting the newest Eagles from "Downunder" and welcome them to the EAGLES squad for the 2014 season. We are happy to announce that Jcaob Cobbin and Mikey Bker will be joinging us this season. These new player profiles are coming soon!

The USARL's US Rugby League Team The Pioneers head to Kingston, Jamaica this week, April 2nd, to take on the Jamaica Hurricanes in an international rugby league challenge.  
New attention has been given to the great game of rugby league for the upcoming 2014 season and this international challenge will do credit to the promotion of rugby league in the United States.
Northern Virginia Eagles Head Coach Craig Webb will accompany The Pioneers to coach the team and hope for a big win for the United States.  
Attached is a flyer originated in Jamaica for the big game, Saturday, April 5th.  
The US team will welcome this excellent challenge in the hopes that continued growth and support for rugby league will ensue and promote all the teams that compete in the USARL for 2014 Season.  
The USARL has teams all over the East Coast of the United States with expansion teams on a continued basis.  
Great international support and interest comes from countries strongly vested in rugby league, including those of the British Commonwealth and Europe.  
The Jamaica Hurricanes Facebook page posted an advertisement for the game.
Craig Webb coaching the USA Pioneers is an exciting plug for the Northern Virginia Eagles and brings attention to rugby league locally here in Virginia.
